Now that SnowRunner Season 14: Reap & Sow is on the Public Test Server (PTS for short), it is time to show you what to expect. So stick around for all the juicy details and gently massage those like and subscribe buttons.
As always, PTS stuff can and is likely to change. However this article will give you a pretty concrete idea of what is coming when Season 14: Reap & Sow publicly launches. In a couple of months or so, most likely. Spoiler alert!

Season 14: Reap & Sow is, as guessed, based in Austria. Where there are spiders the size of, oh wait that is Australia. This time there are two maps instead of one map for Season 13: Dig & Drill and Season 7: Compete & Conquer.
The starting map is called Unterfeld (Austrian accent optional), which connects to Foothills via three gateways – one of which is watery. Not to be confused with Flooded Foothills from Yukon of Season 2: Explore & Expand.
As promised by Saber Interactive, there are four new trucks. Though technically two of those are a similar variant of one model. Known as the EarthRoamer, SnowRunner includes the SX and LTi models.
No longer will we be believing the “no more scouts” thing as both campervans are scouts. In fact, the LTi version I will talk about first is missing the autonomous winch, instead getting a heavy variant. Mistake or on purpose? We shall see, but it does currently limit its usefulness as a scout.
The EarthRoamer LTi currently has switchable AWD and Diff Lock, four gearboxes including the off-road SnowRunner variant, three HET/8V engines, raised suspension, 43 and 46-inch tyres and two snorkels.
For frame addons, expect a solar panel, radar and light and heavy trailer hitches. A feature seen on the chonky Burlak 6×6. Do not expect much customisation as the LTi seems to be limited in that area apart from a chunky front bumper and fenders.

Up next, the currently overly bouncy EarthRoamer SX. It currently has the same three engines, gearboxes, tyre sizes and suspension options. Both also can use all but mud tyres. That radar addon lets you uncover large areas of the map without needing a watchtower.
Where things differ is in the autonomous winch, optional spare wheel, Diff Lock always on and the solar panel frame addon is missing.
Though many assumed the tractor in the teaser screenshot was the Claas Xerion 5000, the reality is that neither new tractor is from Claas (the comments seem to disagree). Instead, we have the Futom 7290RA and the Ankatra 1160. The Futom appears to be a John Deere – partly because of the counter-weight addons.
The Ankatra 1160, meanwhile, is a nimble steed that can haul trailers and operate farm machinery. With some dually tyres, it is pretty impressive off-road too while its lovely turning circle lets you go up and down fields without wanting to take a long walk off a short pier.
The Futom 7290RA can also fit dual versions of its own Futom MHS I and II tyres. Unlike the Ankatra, the coupler is standard unless you fit the Futom log crane. It also gets a rear counter-weight to help with stability and traction.
Expect a more in-depth video of both coming soon – maybe even a massive tractor showdown, but at the very least I will explain all about the Season 14 tractors.
What I will say now is that it is weird the Futom 7290RA description mentions an articulated cabin, like the Aramatsu Forester, but does not actually have one.
Another thing to note is the addition of crumbling rocks first introduced in Season 13: Dig & Drill. Except now, this scary terrain detail can be found in numerous places – usually right next to a perilously thin road beside a scary drop.
As for tasks, Season 14: Reap & Sow has you rebuilding a castle, helping setup a festival and completing work in the farming fields. This is comprised 12 tasks for Green Plains GmbH, 10 for Ackerland Dorf Administration and seven for Auland Trees.
What else is new? Well, unless I have gone completely mad, which is entirely possible, you get to drive through dandelions if you knock into them while scout towers are much prettier in Austria.
There are also the new Futom S and Futom M log trailers for small and medium logs, respectively. As things stand, the descriptions are back to front. I shall also be making a video about these in the near future as they might enhance your logging efficiency.
Is farming more enjoyable in Season 14: Reap & Sow than it was in Season 8: Grand Harvest / Clarkson’s Farm? The new tractors are certainly more fun to use and the time to complete each field task is more satisfying than annoying.
Though I will need to get further to judge repetition. As you probably do too, I still have nightmares about potato.
