How to unlock the Kenworth 963 in SnowRunner

Sponsored

Here is my super speedy guide on how to unlock the Kenworth 963 in SnowRunner, the larger of two new trucks in the Season 10: Fix & Connect DLC.

The Kenworth 963 is the first official Kenworth truck in SnowRunner and is one of two new trucks in Season 10: Fix & Connect. The other being the Mack Defense M917.

To unlock the Kenworth 963, we need to complete a task called Quid Pro Quo in Duncan Bay, the first of the two new British Columbia maps.

Required tasks: Quid Pro Quo > Landslide On The Road (optional)

Please note: This is the script from my YouTube video, click play above to watch or go here.

Quid Pro Quo

To start Quid Pro Quo, we need to go and activate the task itself. Let us kill two birds with one stone – we shall scout and complete at the same time. So get yourself a truck that can handle hills and has 240 repair points. Either as an addon or trailer.

Do not worry about needing spare fuel except for the drive. You are delivering a scout fuel trailer for the first part of Quid Pro Quo, the contents of which can be used to refuel the Kenworth 963.

Take the tarmac route near the garage exit up the hill, then head northwest, taking a right when you can to maintain that north-westerly route. If you go left past the Oil Rig Warehouse, which is a longer route, you will need a truck capable of squeezing underneath some pipes.

To avoid the Landslide On The Road task, you will need to use a truck that can sneak round to the right of the barrier, without falling over the edge obviously, or one with big enough tyres to mount the barrier using the winch and nearby power line.

If you do want to complete the Landslide On the Road task, then use the nearby service hub to deliver one concrete slab and one service spare parts. You may not have the ferry going to make the crossing, in which case take the wetter pathway to the south.

Just off the winding muddy trail, you can sneak through the trees to the Quid Pro Quo task and Kenworth 963 location. Activate and track the task. Leave behind a repair trailer if you have one as we now need to go and get the scout fuel trailer.

Deliver the scout trailer

Head along a rather perilous and fun trail to the very northwest of the map. Now either attach the scout fuel trailer or winch it back the way you came all the way back to the house and Kenworth 963. Drive it into the yellow square behind the house – not the one at the front.

Repair the Kenworth 963

Now we need to complete the second part of the unlock Kenworth 963 task. Using the freshly delivered scout fuel trailer, put the fuel into the Kenworth 963 until full. Use the on-screen button prompts to cycle through the source and target (recipient).

Next and finally, select ‘repair’ and give the Kenworth those 240 repair points. Once done, the task should end and you get some laid back guitar music. Congratulations, task over. Drag it home or use ‘recover’, the choice is yours. Just be sure to like and subscribe for more SnowRunner content.
