Why the Hyundai i30 Fastback N is £30,000 of AWESOME

Alex Tapley / Hyundai

Watch to find out why the Hyundai i30 Fastback N is £30,000 of awesome and why you would be wise to give it a chance – even though it’s a Hyundai.

Hopefully you read my full-fat Hyundai i30 Fastback N review, but if not you can always watch the video above. If you love cars, you probably should anyway.

Though Hyundai was once as cool as gout, it’s now a manufacturer that’s genuinely working very hard to unseat the competition and happy to take a swing at the big guns.

That’s why we now have not one, not two but three N performance Hyundais and a rally car that strikes fear wherever it goes in a cloud of debris. The latest being the i30 Fastback N, which is a coupe (yeah, four-door coupes are a thing now apparently) version of the brilliant hatchback that started everything off.

It’s not the fastest performance car out there, but it has little competition for what it is at sub-£30,000. Why is it so awesome, though? Please allow me to fill you in and be sure to subscribe, your support is genuinely appreciated.
