All relevant contracts take place in the Kanab Creek region called Shaking Land and put you on the way to unlocking the useful specialist mechanic, Marcus Kingsley.

Kanab Creek was a free update for all players released in May 2024. It included the SIRO 72 T8-H and AFIM Hornet 622T. The first contract is called ‘Search Team’ followed by ‘Retrieve the Lost’.

Search Team

Search Team requires you to bring one Jack-screw and one Anchor. Also bring no less than 75 repair points to unblock a rock blockage along the way. A smaller truck will have an easier time as the route can get a bit claustrophobic in places, but then it is limited to scouts anyway.

Follow the waypoints then do some binocular and/or drone scanning until the total reaches 100 per cent. Then head to the ‘discovered camp’ and drive into the yellow box to finish the expedition.

Retrieve the Lost

Retrieve the Lost, meanwhile, is a basic expedition where you have to reach an area then scout it. You need to bring no less than one logistician specialist with you. Connor Eriksen is available automatically and solid on the bonuses front, but there are other options.

Also bring no less than 75 repair points to repair an avalanche and start from the Northern Outpost as this is closest to the SIRO 72 T8-H in the northeast.

Once you reach the specified point on the map, drive to the next waypoint. Now use a drone to survey for maximum ease and efficiency. In this same area you will see the SIRO 72 T8-H. It is parked behind an avalanche, which can be cleared using those aforementioned 75 repair points.

It is your final task to retrieve the communication team’s truck and take it back to the ‘camp’ AKA the outpost. The route is pretty straightforward – use a drone to scout ahead if you find the pathways confusing.

As the route is short and mostly flat, switch on the engine of the towed truck to help ease the burden on your truck and winch. Though it is not a big four-wheeler so you may not even have to bother.
