NZXT H1 V1 custom fan mount (120/140mm fans)

Description

The NZXT H1 V1 case has its positives, but keeping cool is not necessarily one of them. So I designed a custom extension that lets you fit two additional 120mm or 140mm case fans, significantly increasing airflow to your CPU, GPU and other potentially toasty components.

Designed specifically for the smaller NZXT H1 V1 (not the larger V2 or newer V3), my bespoke case extension is built to survive toasty PC temperatures while fitting as seamlessly with the original case design as possible. It can be fitted at the front or back.

Two 120mm or 140mm fans of the common 25mm depth can be fitted. Or one 120mm and one 140mm. Slimmer or deeper fan support is possible – email me for details.

Standard M5 fan screws are all you need to attach those fast-spinning bringers of cool (air). These are usually included with fans but I can supply if necessary.

When it comes to installation, the rear case panel slots into the H1 V1 extension comprised two separate pieces, which slot into the rear of the case with a reassuringly snug fit. The top and bottom components are separate to combat any manufacturing tolerances.

NZXT H1 V1 custom colours & filaments

My NZXT H1 V1 extension is made from high quality, pre-dried filaments and carefully 3D printed using one of three highly calibrated printers. Layer lines are a normal part of the process, as seen in the photos. Fitment will be tested prior to posting and all components packaged securely.

The standard PETG filament I use (available in black, white or a custom colour) is tougher, more temperature resistant, less suspectible to UV discolouration and more biodegradable than PLA. PETG-CF adds a slightly matte finish and real carbon fibre.

By far the strongest and most temperature resistant is polycarbonate (PC), but it is expensive to buy and very slow/challenging to print. Hence the increased price. Custom colours are available – email me for details.

• 2 x 120mm/140mm case fans
