I made custom Lian Li 011 Vision feet extensions

Following on from my popular Lian Li Dynamic Evo XL feet, I unveil my custom Lian Li 011 Vision feet extensions for improved airflow and easier dusting.

Available for the Lian Li 011 Vision and 011 Vision Chrome cases, my custom leg extensions raise the case by 55mm (2.17 inches) compared with 25-30mm for the original legs.

In doing so, potential airflow is increased for lower case temperatures and reduced (quieter) fan speeds. You also get a unique look in either black, white or a custom colour (message for details).

My custom 011 Vision feet extensions are 3D printed in PETG as standard for improved longevity, temperature resistance and strength. Optional PETG-CF with real carbon fibre adds a slightly matte finish and improved smoothness.

Polycarbonate, meanwhile, costs the most but is by far the strongest option in case you are worried about a heavy PC. Whichever filament you choose, I print for strength and as smooth a finish as possible.

Keep on scrolling for installation instructions. Be sure to check out the image gallery as you will see exactly what to do when it comes to removing the old legs and fitting the new.

Lian Li fan shrouds (120 and 140mm) are also available from my Ebay or Etsy stores. Or direct from me for the cheapest price.

Lian Li 011 Vision leg extensions installation

  1. Unscrew original legs (3 screws for R1, 1 screw for L1, L2 and R2 legs)
  2. Remove 2 screws from I/O PCB and separate PCB from original legs
  3. Use the same 2 (pointy-ended) screws to reattach the I/O PCB to the new R1 leg extension
  4. Partially screw all screws into each leg extension so that a slight point sticks out
  5. Lift up or turn your PC case on its side / upside down
  6. Line each leg up (R1 for R1, L1 for L1 and so on) before screwing in finger tight (no need to overtighten!)
  7. Gently return the PC case to its usual standing position and admire your work
  8. Profit!
