Top 7 best SnowRunner mods for petrolheads

In my Top 7 best SnowRunner mods for petrolheads, I ditch the usual trucks and showcase some four-wheelers with attitude and stupidity aplenty.

SnowRunner is an off-road trucking game. Death Stranding with wheels, basically. But does that mean you have to drive a truck? No, thanks to the ever-ingenious and rebellious modding community.

Yes, this A Tribe Called Cars video features seven, yes seven, of the finest car mods that petrolheads may approve. Or simply anyone who wants a change of pace.

Some are even available on console, would you believe. Some are really powerful, some are more amusing than anything – it really depends on the addons you choose and how you use them.

Scouting, of course, makes most sense. But chuck your sanity out of the window and you can also tow things. Sort of.

Anyway, gently tease those subscribe and like buttons, maybe even share the video, and get comfy. For it is time to get in gear and start those engines.

SnowRunner best mods: Bentley Bentayga

Obvious first choice, the Bentley Bentayga. I mean, it has my name in it and also one of my favourite trucks in SnowRunner. Not that I can afford a real Bentayga, nor do I love these supercar SUV crossover things. Even the Lamborghini offering.

However, the Bentley Bentayga SnowRunner mod is bags of fun. Potentially powerful, too, which some of you may not like. But if you wanted to drive a British monster through perilous countryside while enjoying an epic interior complete with a rear-view camera, you could do a lot worse.

TUZ 21

Next up in my best SnowRunner mods list is the console-friendly TUZ 21, a mod version of the GAZ M21 Volga automobile from the 1950s to 1970. Built by the Soviet Union, this pretty saloon is more at home in Russia-heavy SnowRunner than others on my list. Especially with that added ground clearance.

Fortunately, the mod maker has boosted it to drive better than the three-speed automatic original. With certain addons it can make suprisingly good progress when scouting and it is one of the more satisfying cars to drive. Also: Two-tone paintjobs for the win!

C.C.M. CE-59 “Panther”

As someone commented on the C.C.M. CE-50 “Panther” SnowRunner mod, in this you float like a Cadillac and sting like a Beamer. Although somebody told me that Beamer is for bikes only and Bimmer is for cars. That was a riveting exchange.

Anyway, the C.C.M. CE-59 “Panther” looks like something Lady Penelope would ride around in. If she were real and any of you are old enough to get the reference. Based on a 1959 Cadillac, this is yet another stunningly pretty – not to mention incredibly fat – car. Get stuck in style!

Stuttgart 9110 “Safari”

Nobody is getting any points for guessing what this car is a reference to. It is definitely not a Porsche 911, okay. Sshh the lawyers are listening! I should probably censor those two iconic paintjobs. No, camel is not a reference to the animal that carries water and spits.

Console-friendly, the Porsche 911 Safari is one of the nicest SnowRunner mods to look at. It is also potent, which makes sense as Porsche chucked the real life car at the East African Safari Rally and it survived. Probably needed a good wash after though.

Prestige Sentry

As the Prestige Sentry mod maker jokingly says in the SnowRunner mod description, this is the car you all asked for. Well, someone called Walt0Mino did after seeing it in Walmart car park and here we are.

Now we have a SnowRunner car capable of hauling and scouting in excruciatingly plain fashion. Just do not forget to add flashing lights on top for GTA vibes.

Like many mods from these makers, you can go as feeble as you want with addons and get stuck. A lot. Or crank up the absurdity and cruise around Amur like it is Milton Keynes on a gloriously sunny day. Either way, it is a fun machine.

Dollar General

Next up, say hello to the Dollar General SnowRunner mod. AKA the General Lee for anyone old enough to remember The Dukes of Hazzard. There were some issues with the flag of this particular 1969 Dodge Charger so now it has an American one on top instead.

This legendary two-door coupe has been injected into SnowRunner with a 375hp V8 and other fun stuff, making it worth a download. Just make sure to find a map with huge jumps for that authentic experience. Double denim is optional.

Yeti

And lastly we have the Yeti. It has since become a favourite among motoring enthusiasts. Not for its looks, which are hardly the height of sophistication, but the fact it can go anywhere and do anything while carrying everything.

So what better way to drive it than in a game where you can, pretty much, go anywhere or do anything. But not carry everything, sadly. Unless, of course, SnowRunner gets a grocery shopping mod.

And that, as I would say if this were showbusiness, is a wrap. I hope you enjoyed a more car-flavoured and somewhat ridiculous SnowRunner video. Go forth and give some or all of these mods a go and recommend other best car mods in the video comments.
